This place is no frills. We went before a concert on a Saturday and since we were a party of 2 we managed to snag the last table. The restaurant was full. I tried the pad see mao which is like the spicier version of pad see ew. I've had this dish before once at another Thai place and both times they were very spicy i think naturally this dish is just spicy! I ordered this because I saw many people ordering it. It was delicious but my spice tolerance is not that high lol my tongue was sizzling. I would have preferred if they could have a mild version. My partner got the pork over rice it wasn't my favorite. The mango sticky rice was good! Overall I enjoyed that the cooking was right in front of us and that you can see the waiters hustle and bustle around. It felt like being in Asia. I like that it's no frills!

My group came here for lunch, and even though the wait said up to 15 minutes we were seated almost right away even though the place was packed. The restaurant is a simple place, casual but I highly recommend. The waitress was very attentive and kind. The food was also amazing! You can tell that ingredients are fresh and made with a lot of passion. We got the rolls which were delicious, and so was the Pad Woon sen. The mild option wasn't too spicy.

SERVICE - located on a small offshoot from the main road - street or garage parking nearby - can join waitlist which goes by quite fast even during busy times - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - food served very quickly - ambiance good for casual lunch or dinner MENU - wide selection of classic Thai dishes - vegan and gluten free options - average price ($16 per entree) FOOD - tofu suki (7/10): glass noodles with vegetables and fried tofu in a spicy sesame broth. I had not seen this dish in other Thai restaurants so wanted to try it. The servers asked multiple times to clarify if vegan meant with or without egg so I specified that I did not want eggs. It tasted similar to ramen because of the sesame broth but with vermicelli instead of wheat noodles. The broth itself was quite spicy and very hot when served. I liked the variety of vegetables. The tofu could have been fried less as it was oily and did not absorb the flavor of the broth well. WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! This is my second time coming here and both times the food has been very authentic.

Delicious vegetarian pad see ew :) Imm thai is busy per usual, but after placing my name on their Yelp waitlist kiosk outside, they surprisingly beat the estimated wait time and were able to accommodate us within 10 minutes. Service is quick & food comes out so fast! You can't beat their efficiency, and so impressive with their constant busy restaurant :)

Amazing menu. Great flavor and spice. Always lively with good vibes and very solid value. Many people I know consider it their favorite restaurant in Berkeley. Personal favorites are the pad woon sen and pad kao mao. Food can get pretty spicy if you ask for it! No reservations! In person waitlist.

We walked into this spot Sunday around 4pm and got a table with no wait. We got the pad kee mao, yellow curry, and suki. Food came out at a record pace (under 10 mins). Everything was flavorful and great prices! This was my first time having Suki but it was such a unique and comforting flavor. Sweet and sour well balanced broth. Would come back anytime I am in Berkeley.

One of the best spots in Berkeley! The food is always amazing and has great flavor. There's usually a line and you can only join the waitlist in person, but it's definitely worth the wait. There's seating outside as well which is nice on days with good weather. My favorite dishes are the basil chicken rice plate and the pad kee mao. Everything is great value because the prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big. Best Thai restaurant in Berkeley!

Food was 8.5/10 and service was 6.5/10! When we walked in the building, it was very small. When we were seated, we had to kind of squish together to fit at the table. I shared the Duck Over Rice, Garlic Chicken, and Sticky Mango Rice with my partner. The duck was delcious and tender, but it was a little too gamy for me. I thought the sauce was very sweet and the dip that came with the dish was very vinegary. I thought it was a little underwhelming and I wished they added more cucumber slices. Also I thought the rice was dry. The garlic chicken was nice and flavorful. The sauce that came with the chicken was pretty good. I really like the broccoli cause the sauce gets trapped in the florets! The mango sticky rice was delicious! The mango was sweet and the rice wasn't overly mushy. The service was okay. They were nice and quick. They looked really exhausted and dead inside. They were running around and doing their best to be attentive to every table. Overall, I would go here again if I'm in the city!
